morocco31477 Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I have a black 60GB Ipod. When I plug it in via USB, it will freeze my computer up for like three minutes before it shows up in My Computer as a drive. Anyone have any idea why it takes so long? I don't remember my Ipod Nano taking that long.

I don't remember my Ipod Nano taking that long.Hello, I had the same issue.... I would wait until all the icons in the taskbar on the lower right have loaded and the computer has fully started. Then plug the IPOD in. Let me know if that works.
