ashanti
HiI've run into a problem. The older versions of quicktime and itunes used to work fine on my AMD 64bit laptop but Quicktime 7.1 & the bundled iTunes now doesn't work on 64bit mode, ever since some new Microsoft security updates were added.I've googled this problem and it appears I have to uninstall it and install the older version of quicktime and itunes instead. I've tried various ways and numerous times to try to uninstall quicktime from my system but for some reason there's still some invisible quicktime file lurking somewhere which constantly gives me the message that I can't install the older version because a new version is already installed.Does anyone have any solution to this?Help - I miss my iTunes Thanks in advance
Shark007
Most likely your problem exists in the registry. Under hklm\software and hkcu\software delete the key 'Apple' or 'Apple Computer, Inc'reboot, and try again.shark
Shindo_Hikaru
This the possible file left in Windows/System or System32, and/or references in the registry. IT will take some searching.
