[Help] Upgrade from xp home to xp pro

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi this is my first post here.

Windows xp pro

Office XP

I just went and bought an upgrade from xp home to xp pro everything went well untill i restarted the first thing i noticed is that this program, Photo gallery is looking for it's source disk and cannot find it. In fact i don't even know what program it is or from, so everytime i restart i have to click cancel twice to stop this program from looking for it's source disk. The input field just has a 1 in it, i browse and it shows me all the folders.

The second problem is; i placed a picture of my son on the desktop as a background and made the screen saver My picture slide show. Evertime i turn the computer on i see my son and then the screen turns blue.

Any help would be appreciated.

You must uninstall fully PhotoGallery : it is from HP printer in fact, reinsert the original disk, choose uninstall, reboot and reinstall.

For the background image rechoose the wallpaper in the list manually.
