jonno112 Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Hi this is my first post here.Windows xp proOffice XPI just went and bought an upgrade from xp home to xp pro everything went well untill i restarted the first thing i noticed is that this program, Photo gallery is looking for it's source disk and cannot find it. In fact i don't even know what program it is or from, so everytime i restart i have to click cancel twice to stop this program from looking for it's source disk. The input field just has a 1 in it, i browse and it shows me all the folders. The second problem is; i placed a picture of my son on the desktop as a background and made the screen saver My picture slide show. Evertime i turn the computer on i see my son and then the screen turns blue.Any help would be appreciated.Title edited -- Please, use [TAGS] in your topic's title.--Sonic
gamehead200 Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Do you own a Dell by any chance? A friend of mine had this exact same problem.
Sonic Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 You must uninstall fully PhotoGallery : it is from HP printer in fact, reinsert the original disk, choose uninstall, reboot and reinstall. For the background image rechoose the wallpaper in the list manually.
