i cant get the stupid shortcuts to copy...like for mplayer clasic...keeps saying file not found.

makesure you use .lnk at the end of your shortcut

i did it with and without .lnk

i even tried XCOPY

it copies mplayerc.exe just fine.

This is what I put And it works for me.

COPY "%systemdrive%\install\Ql\zips.lnk" "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\Brain\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\zips.lnk"

I had the same problem copying shortcuts , now i use this cool little batch shortcut creator :

works like a charm
