-I-
Nuhi In your release notes you spoke of a new start (discusion) on getting a new list of features for the next generation of nlite... so here is mine... (in a bit more details). as we a know, nlite has now several features to 'manage' driver support on our customized windows.we can: remove device drivers (vga sound printers lan etc). remove device support add our own drivers and thats about it...but i think there are about a milion posibillities to explore and think about. so lets have a look at them.my favorite is the graet work done by: Bâshrat the Sneakywhat he did was awsom, but his ways are not fuly automated and even worse is, there are pretty mutch NOT Gui based. So what would i suggest wat i would like to see is 1: the current way of "driver removal options" removed from the component removal window.2: the option of adding drivers to the cdrom (but without the limitation that they have to be used / installed). so more like the bts way....b: the ability to "import" driver sets 3: the option of removing drivers sorted by type AND manufacturer. so i can keep al vga drivers of brand x and y but removing support for brand z 4: the abilitie of selecting drivers to install like the current driver slipstreamer) but relocated to the driver management section5: all of the driver related options to a single window with a tab for each task... so youd end up with.... what do you want to do [add a service pack] [managed system drivers] [remove components] [ addons & hotfixes] [create iso]

nuhi
I'm not very active on the forum lately because of a new features so don't worry if I don't respond.By looking at this suggestion I must ask which are those old drivers in the Windows that you need to keep...maybe only printers.Anyway this gave me a good idea...to scan for integrated drivers and be able to remove them...but I won't promise anything.I'll reply some more when I think about this and if I have something to add.
