Perhaps you mean ntldr.

I tried that in vmware but no luck, it won't boot. It says unable to boot,

"please reinstall a copy of the following files

<windows>\ntoskrnl.exe

<windows>\ntkrnlmp.exe

<windows>\ntkrnlpa.exe"

That's odd cos I only replaced ntoskrnl.exe but maybe it sees the kernel files as one whole category.
