T D Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 (edited) hellois it possible to set a profile/session/settings in nlite?I saw there is a 'import or load previous settings' and 'load last session at startup'but how can I save my settings/preferences?thanksIn the same dir as your win source, there is a file called last_session.ini. Take it out and you've got your settings You use "import and load" and point to that file to apply the settings to your source. Your last session in nlite is autosaved to last_session.ini Edited June 25, 2006 by T D
Guest xpuser Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 In the same dir as your win source, there is a file called last_session.ini. Take it out and you've got your settings there is no last_session.ini in my win installation source diris it generated after making the iso?isnt there a way to save all my current job, the configuration I made?thanks
Guest xpuser Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 can anyone tell me urgently please, I want to reboot, but I have nlite open and I need to save the current configuration firstthere is no such file last_session.ini in my pc
Ponch Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 is it generated after making the iso?It is generated during nLite steps and is also copied in the iso and thus on the cd if you make one.
T D Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 No, it's not used if you ONLY made an iso, if you did anything else it's there.last_session.ini wasn't on my iso that I made in my nlite, Ponch.
Camarade_Tux Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 It is generated at the very beginning of nlite's process.@TD it should be on the iso unless you removed it by hand.
Kaonashi Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Actually, I think xpuser was/is looking for that neat Preset-button (only a button when you hover over it or press alt and then right arrow) that's always present in the lower left corner of the nLite window
T D Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 (edited) No, he's looking for this:And the last_session.ini file in your source that goes with it. Or should go with it anyway Edited June 27, 2006 by T D
