Guest xpuser
helloI have a question about nlitesometimes, I choose some settings that contradict each othernlite warns about the contradiction, but not in all circumstances, eg it warns about if OEM install is needed and I untick the OEM install box, but it wont warn if a dependancy is chosen to be removedeven if it warns, I click 'ok', I dont change anything, the contradictions still occur and I can move on!what happens actually with these contradictions?thanks
T D
You'll need to be a bit more specific as to what you selected, so we can tell you how they will conflict etc.
Guest xpuser
You'll need to be a bit more specific as to what you selected, so we can tell you how they will conflict etc.1)example'system restore' service is dependant on 'IE core'however, you can remove 'system restore' service and maintain 'IE core'2)exampleenable 'auto logon' needs enabled 'OEM'but you can go on with 'auto logon' enabled, without having OEM enabled Edited June 25, 2006 by xpuser

RyanVM
Just because something is dependent in one direction doesn't mean it is in the other...For example, a car requires oil to be driven. If all the oil in the world disappears, all of those cars which require oil will no longer be drivable. However, if I take away all the oil-dependent cars, does that mean that oil will no longer be necessary? Of course not, because oil is used in many different processes besides cars. Hopefully you can apply this logic to your situation now, since I'm pretty well certain that nLite is working exactly as it should
