Tarun Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Opera lets you surf the Internet in a safer, faster, and easier way. One of the most full-featured Internet power tools on the market, it includes pop-up blocking, tabbed browsing, integrated searches, and advanced functions like Opera's groundbreaking E-mail program, RSS Newsfeeds and IRC chat. You can customize the look and content of your browser with a few clicks of the mouse. Download: Opera 9.01 Build 8505 Beta (6.13MB, *.exe) Source: Lunarsoft.net

Tarun Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I recently tried to switch, but I'm sticking with Firefox. Opera may have that 100% compliance going on, but Firefox has far more to offer. A few options and extensions that I readily use often have nothing close to similar in Opera yet.
i'm not ophiel Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Opera is the best browser on the planet, hands-down.that being said, Opera 9 is a pile of rubbish. many many web pages that worked perfectly for me in 8.54 simply refuse to work in 9. and i'm not talking little glitches, i mean pages that just flat out don't work anymore.on top of that are the strange page rendering issues now present in 9. all the time text and graphics are overlapping eachother and fighting for space.Opera is brilliant, but it's still Opera 8 for me.
