How to stop windows replace file msg?

i wanna to know HOw to stop windows protect messege that appear if i try to replace any files of windows?

i really doubt that this will be possible as its a security feature built in. It would be really stupid not to prompt for file replacing.

I don't think so as if u try to use programs that change icons of ur windows.

this type of programs stop this security (msg) to be able to replace icons,avi,bmp,.....

i think you wantting to disable the SFC ) system file copy [ its stands for or soemthing like that ] that like

windows file protection

insert your win XP cd-rom now with retry more info cancel

SFC=System File Checker

SFP=System File Protection

You can disable it via patches section in nLite.

If your windows source is the one you used to install windows (nlited or not) you can apply the patch to your source in nlite, run this command in cmd

%XPCD%\i386\expand sfc_os.dl_ ".\sfc_os.dll"

and put it in your windows\system32 folder. You might have to use unlocker. http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/

Replace %XPCD%\i386 with where your i386 dir is.
