c++ noobie, any tips

hi,

ive been learning C++ and i do understand alot of it, and so far its been rather enjoyable.

ive looked at quite a few good tutorials.

thing is these tutorials end about where i want to get very interested, windows programming .

just wondering if anyone can offer any good tutorials on how to use the platform sdk.

im running windows x64 (not too important, but in case u wanted to know), i have the platform sdk for my system downloaded, and im using Visual C++ express edition.

i also had this problem, i had to go out n find books on specifically programming the windows API , hopefully u should be able to find some.

Win32 API Reference!!!!!!

Google "Win32.hlp" and the file is ~10Mb.

thats pretti useful, but its more of a reference of commands

i want a tutorial that tells me how to make a simple program etc. just so i know what most of it will do, instead of geussing at the beginning stages
