piXelatedEmpire
After a clean nLitened XP install there are several empty folders laying about that can be deleted manually. Does anyone know a method or have a script that can delete these for me during install?
Yzöwl
I posted a vbscript in the last thread you started, which with very little alteration would do it. However, the problem as I've stated is that there are many empty directories still needed by the system, without knowing what all these are, especially on a customized install, the script would be dangerous to use. mobilelatham
before you burn your xp disk just explore yoer $OEM$ folder And del the unwanted folders (search thru them first) if there any subfolders they will be copied over to your hard drive during win setup but if nothing is needed within all these del the four folders named:$Docs, $$, $Progs, $1 within the $OEM$ Folders but dont del the files in the $oem$ $OEM$} $Docs = Documents and Settings $Progs = Program Files +$$ = Windows Folder System32 +$1 = Root of hard drive where Windows is installed to partition.
