hello. i have a problem. i've uninstalled the AVI and MPEG custom icons but they are still there...what i want is to restore default windows media player icons for these kind of files..

how to do that?

XPize is supposed to revert those icons back to WMP defaults. Try refreshing shell icons or uninstalling them again.

already done that...also tried Xpize force reload :( but no success

Where do you have installed WMP? C:\Program files or another partition?

on the usually directory C:\Programmi\ (Program Files for you ;))...i uninstalled that, done a normal reloading and after rebooting another 'forced' reloading.

Hehe, I think youre doing it wrong. How are you trying to uninstall those icons? You have an option in the uninstaller called "custom icons". Using Force Reload is useless in this case. Are you trying to uninstall wmplayer.exe and not the actual custom icons?

Offtopic: for me is "Archivos de Programa", although Im using English XP :P
