DigeratiPrime Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 have you tried putting your microsoft word/office cd in when starting word?
BombaTwist Posted June 1, 2006 Author Posted June 1, 2006 Yes, oh yea, i forgot to mention that i get the same error as the first picture attached when i launch MSN Messenger too.
BombaTwist Posted June 2, 2006 Author Posted June 2, 2006 i tryed a uninstalling and reinstalling but when i even try to uninstall i get that message so it is like impossible to even uninstall. So does anyone know a solution to this?
Jeremy Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 (edited) That happens when the .MSI file associated with that program has either been deleted or the reference within the registry has been altered. The .MSI files are located in C:\WINDOWS\Installer.If directing the pop-up box to the specific .MSI file in that folder doesn't work, I'd suggest just reinstalling overtop of the programs that have this issue. BombaTwist Posted June 2, 2006 Author Posted June 2, 2006 k i tried it and it didnt work. when i try to over install, it goes back to the windows installer thing at the start and says the same error so thats like the first thing that comes up when i try to over install. =(.
