May 31, 200620 yr I was wondering if there is anyway to add the network connection icon (like Win2K & XP) in the systray? I'm not really interested in the dialog balloon, just the icon with the flashing light when you send/receive data.bUMbLEsI guess I should have made it clear that I mean for broadband not dial up. May 31, 200620 yr It's been a long time since I ran 98. But I remember I had a little freeware utility that would do that. You'll have to google for it though, I don't remember the name. Windows 98 by its self does not have the network activity icon.
