Aaron Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 Techies said the best OS to develop on was NT4 and Server operating systems, but that was almost 3 years ago. As long as you're using an NT Operating System (thats NT4, Win2k, XP, 2003) then its good enough to program on.

Since your main function in Win2003 would be to code programs, I can only recommand you use it, because it it's faster, and I would also say more stable. I would use Win2003 to code in if I had it!AaronXP: Maybe it was 3 years ago, but it still counts. I couldn't imagine myself coding in Win98/ME... it would take twice the time to make a program, with all the random crashes and all. NT are here to stay!
