saraf312 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but can anyone tell me where MCE stores on my computer, the tv shows I record? And is it possible to watch them without using media center to do so.Thank you in advance!

razormoon Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 To answer your second question, you can use all sorts of tools change the recorded TV format of dvr-ms.Among them are Nero, Sonic Encoders (Primetime is the best) and my favorite: VideoReDo, which cuts out the commercials automatically.
wbpluto Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 (edited) Using Windows XP SP2 (Home Edition,Professional,or later versions of Windows),you can play dvr-ms file with Windows Media Player.... Edited May 29, 2006 by wbpluto
