disable taskbar

is there a way to keep explorer.exe running but to not have the taskbar? i have been messing around with litestep and i made a litestep taskbar, therefore i have no use for the windows taskbar anymore. the only thing i dont like about litestep is its desktop and its folder views so thats why i want to keep explorer running still. and i dont want to hide the taskbar, i just want it gone.

I dont know if this will cause many other issues but

removing rpcss.dll stops the taskbar from loading.

well yah that would cause issues, try diabling rpc from the registry instead.

I like litestep as well. It uses less ram than explorer(6 mb less) pretty functional and the default is not that bad looking. I have disabled explorer totally and use litstep without any problems.

You know you can resize the taskbar; why don't you just drag it down? When you do, you can only see about 2 pixels of it?
