Gaprofitt
Hi All,My work is requiring everyone in our Network IT Department to take a C#programming class. We started today with the class. I have zero programming experience aside from some lite HTML, Javascript and very minor stuff with VBS modifications. Can anyone recommend a good starting point, FAQ etc that gives me the basics and the most commonly used commands etc. The work labs in the book already assumed you knew some programming.Any advice is appreciated, book reccommendations etc. Thanks,Greg
RogueSpear
http://www.learnvisualstudio.net/It's not free, but I've found some extremely useful information there for someone who is a complete noob to Visual Studio. They cover primarily C# and Visual Basic, so you should find material that's helpful.
Ophiel X
go to your local bookstore and get this book:"Beginning Visual C#" published by Wrox.it's ~900 pages, softback, and only $39.99 list price.(isbn:0-7645-4382-2)it covers just about everything, and starts out from the beginning. you'll have to learn about the more advanced stuff other places, but i've been very happy with the book.
