How to cab ?

but while Replace file

It's a CAB file written by M$, not your father's Zip file.

And why do you even want to fuss with a CAB file?

You will have to extract all the CAB files, modify, and then repack with spanning option due to the fact that some files occupy more than one of the CABs.

A file list will be required during repacking, to maintain the original positions of the files.

Read through the cabarc docs. I remember seeing an option to specify how the files are to be stored across archives. Edited May 13, 2006 by LLXX

Download this .CAB SDK from the link as

http://download.microsoft.com/download/pla...n-us/cabsdk.exe

It contains the file "Makecab.exe" which is used for craeting .CAB files
