gamehead200 Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Is it possible to split the wires on a Gamecube controller, connect them to a USB cable, get the correct drivers, and use the controller on a PC? If anyone can find any information, please post it here since I would really like to do this...
gamehead200 Posted July 21, 2003 Author Posted July 21, 2003 I've seen it for $9.99 USD...But I don't want to buy anything, I just want to "do it myself"...
Unwonted Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 If cost isn't the issue and learning is, you should buy one, take it apart, and learn. You could post a how-to guide and be the first to do so! Go GH!
gamehead200 Posted July 21, 2003 Author Posted July 21, 2003 You don't really need to take apart the controller...I can buy one of those extension cables for the Gamecube controller which cost about $10, buy a cheap USB cable like this one and then splice the cables and download the drivers which I already found! But I think I already have some USB cables lying around...
XPerties Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 xbox controllers are easy as heck to do. I havent done ps2 controllers but I will look around.
XPerties Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 well the best place to find out is at Kevins forums ( tech tv guru guy)I posted it for you:http://kevinrose.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=23045#23045
