MDGx
You need to replace all 5 icon groups in sndvol32.exe with the ones you want.Example:I "borrowed" the icon groups from WinXP sndvol32.exe and put them into WinME sndvol32.exe, which I'm using in Win98 SE.I use Resource Hacker [freeware]:http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/BTW:98SE2ME:http://www.msfn.org/board/?showtopic=46349also replaces 98SE sndvol32.exe with the 1 from WinME setup CD.Hope this helps. Tihiy
You need systray.exe!
MDGx
I don't use systray.exe to load sndvol32.exe or anything else for that matter.I use TrayIcon [3rd party freeware tool]:http://www.infobro.com/anon-FTP/Old_Files/trayicon.zipwhich can create direct shortcuts to anything on your hard drives. So I made a shortcut to sndvol32.exe.That's why I replaced the ugly sndvol32 icons with the XP ones.HTH
