Does anybody know of any good sites or ebooks or anyother online material for the A+ exam

Theres quite alot of ebooks around for it if u just search google for comptia A+ ebook. Although for A+ its so easy anyway i doubt you'll need an ebook to study from.

One site I always recommend is MCMCSE.com

You have Study Guides, FAQ, Forum and Exam Simulations.

If you plan on doing Security+, I suggest you take a look at MCMCSE.com in a week or two. I'm currently renewing the exam simulator.
