Smooth the end of the swirl off?

Hello,

I would like to finsh the bottom of the swirl off by adding some sort of line? When viewing on websites it doesn't look right. How do i do this in Photoshop. I tried the swirl again but that didn't work and even tried putting a line but no luck. How do i adjust the edges so that they arn't pixlated?
