m1ck Posted April 19, 2006 Share Posted April 19, 2006 Hi, can anyone help I have just installed an ati 256MB pci-e video card into a new system.The problem im having with it is that i get broken red lines on the post boot screen, on the bios settings screen and also all graphics are corrputed in any games i play but *not* in any game movies for instance the intro movie of call of duty 2 plays fine as does the movies in battlefield 2 (has the latest v1.22 patch) the other thing is windows display is fine..any ideas as to what i might have done wrong.any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.systems specs:-ATI Radeon 256 MB PCI E Video Graphics X600 DellWestern Digital 160GB SATA HarddriveAMD 64 Bit 3400 CPU (not overclocked)Mainboard nvidia graphics 1GB DDRdvd re-writersoundblaster live 5.1 soundcard used only for the midi/game portAudigy 2 soundcardQ-tec 650w power supplyalso tried the latest ati drivers aND A previous version for games but still no luck.
