Microsoft Anti Spyware Beta 1

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get MS Anti Spyware Beta 1? I can't find it anywhere, because nearly all are replaced with Defender Beta 2. I refuse to update to SP2 to use it, and AntiSpyware doesnt require SP2 like Defender does.

Thanks a lot..I had been trying to get Defender to install..I managed to bypass the SP2 requirement, then I had to download WindowsInstaller 3.1 and then it said I needed to update my WindowsUpdate so I just gave up. Thanks for finding that site for me..now I dont need to go through all that

I've editted the installer to run Defender on SP1/0... it works, somewhat, but autoupdates do not work.... And of course, I've removed the need for a WGA check to be performed... I'm just saying that it's possible to remove these checks and let the program run...
