[Help] Can't access WMP10. already installed but wont execute!

I loaded WMP10 and altered a setting in 'Add Remove Programs' in the Windows components section i unticked the bit where is says Windows Media Player. I have re-ticked it, and even tried to re-install it but re-installing says that its already installed.

What can i do?

Download WMP10 from microsoft directly, and re-run the setup.

Have you got a nLited Windows CD ?

Hi Sonic,

I have already tried re-installing WMP10 but it fails as it recognises a new version.

And Yes I have an nLited windows CD, but that disc works 100% on another PC. So i thought that it was an error with the XP setting rather than an nLite issue.

what else could it be? The only other thing i have done is channge the drive letters. (and indicate that all programs install in the D directory)

But i would have thought that WMP10 would have loaded into the C drive as its a windows component.
