wmp 9

I was just wonderin do i really need wmp 9

if i use wmp 7 with the wmp 9 and wmp10 codecs.

I'm tryin 2 trim down space.

I'm not sure if certain media require wmp 9

You won't be able to watch some streaming content on the web because it requires WMP9 or higher. It's up to you if that's a problem or not.

Under Win98 WMP9 is not fully functional. No DVD play and lousy fullscreen control
