I assume as you are talking Windows 2003 that you are using a Terminal Services connection to the server, so an admin logged onto the server can view the processes for all users?

And you want to waste company time by playing games on the server, but not let your boss know... but where does the "joke" come into it?

I would agree with jondercik, you appear to be asking about applying rootkit practice to servers for the purposes of your own entertainment - play games at home on your own time.

I'm sorry

i can't give voice to clarity.

the computer placed in my room.it's my own.Not connection to any server.

"my Boss" means "my wife".she don't like games.

So, you're saying your wife comes barging into your room, pushes you aside and opens taskmanager so she can see what you're running???

I think you got worse problems than trying to hide running programs, buddy.

You want to hide processes from the Windows API.

(That's what we mean when we use the term "rootkit.")

This is nontrivial and demands a level of skill that cannot be imparted casually to you. In other words, you are asking to be taught something that most of us don't teach, certainly not at MSFN.

If you simply want to keep a program from showing up (but it still lists in the running processes) then Google the term "boss key software".
