Problem with FRAPS

Alright heres the deal, I bought FRAPs ( www.fraps.com ) and I installed it etc. but everytime I double click on the shortcut or whatever to start it my cursor just changes to the loading icon for 2-3 seconds and nothing happens. So I decided I'd open up the task manager and see if anythings going on, nope no Fraps there either. So go to the Processes tab and try running Fraps again and I see for like those 2-3 seconds that the cursor has the loading icon that fraps is actually running then it just closes again. I sent the people at FRAPS a email but I'm wondering if this might not be a problem with the program just something on my computer. Any help?

Hmm, I use Fraps all the time, never had a problem. Do you have any file monitoring programs that may be preventing it from running? Sorry if that seems like a silly question to you, just trying to eliminate any potential issues.

Best thing is to wait for a reply from the Fraps guys.
