pobat Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 i recently updated my unattended xp cds with new hotfixes. i used nlight to intergrate them directly into the windows installation source rather than using guirunonce. this has caused a problem with IE. IE indicates that the website has been found, but will fail to display anything in the window. also internet options no longer works. this has happend to all versions of XP, on multiple machines. the hot fixes integrated are - KB913446KB911565KB911927KB911564KB912945KB904942KB912475I have been unable to find any reason for one of these to cause IE to fail.any ideas??
the_guy Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 912945! It has a known issue that is posted i the kb article. You cannot integrate this hotfix. You must install it in Windows.the_guy
RyanVM Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 When I reported the issue to MS, I was informed that the fixed mshtml.dll would appear in the next IE cumulative update scheduled for April at the latest. So give it a couple weeks
