le-doc
Hi, i would like to boot my PM8 with CDShell from my ultimate DVD, but when memdisk is launch, i see the picture of KNOPPIX in background and it stop the boot process.I already tested with ghost (same picture) but the boot process continu well, and software launch correctly. So I would like to know WHERE is the memdisk that CD Shell launch by default (i d/l other version of memdisk and put it anywhere on my DVD but same probleme), and how disactive the picture for non KNOPPIX Soft The image of PM work (with CDEMU) and the extension is .IMA file (so launch with memdisk)Thanks for answer me, im bloked nearly the end of this project !! le-doc
solution founded: use ghost floppy image, (windows 98 boot floppy).I copied partition magic to UBCD folder, make startup.bat, and it work well, u just have to insert mouse drivers, and load it.Now it work 100% to Ultimate boot cd (CDShell), and it would work with UBCD easyU just have to check Partition magic image floppy! Daemonforce
Don't use memdisk. My command uses Diskemu PQMAGIC.IMA and it runs just fine on any box. That includes vmware. =/

Daemonforce
I used to rely on memdisk but when I finally ran the first test, about 60% of the bootable images I created would make the guest computer halt or reboot. I have NEVER had any problems when using Diskemu in place of memdisk.
