CustomDefaultThemeFile in winnt.sif

Recommended Posts

What exactly is happening when you add a custom theme in winnt.sif as follows?

(What registry values are altered etc.)

[Shell]
CustomDefaultThemeFile="%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\Royale.theme"
DefaultStartPanelOff = No
DefaultThemesOff = No

DefaultStartPanelOff = No

That line will make the start menu looks like in Windows 2000. There is no associated registry key. Beleive me, i tried to find...

Same thing for:

DefaultThemesOff = No

It disable the Bliss wallpaper and the theme that goes with... USe the classic shell we use to have with Windows 2000.
