Some updated not approved by Windows Update

Featured Replies

I have included some of the updated and slipstream with HFSLIP, after Slipstream i have checked the CATALOG file already included in the SVCPACK folder. But since i test run the CD, i found Windows Update saying that some of it not been updated yet.

These are the updates :

Q282784 (qfecheck)

KB888111 (Microsoft High Definition Audio)

KB890830 (Windows Malicious Removal)

KB901190 (Windows Media Update)

KB909520 (Microsoft Smart Card Update)

Any one having the same problem ?

Just to specify more clearly for my problem

Windows Update just specify that

KB890830, KB901190, KB909520 not been updated

Q282784 and KB88111 just tested by myself

For Q282784 by normally saying that cannot find qfecheck.exe

For KB901190 i've test it with a HDAudio motherboard and i found that the updated not probably patch yet.

Please attach your ERROR_REPORT as outlined in the directions.

Is this file still needed?

> KB890830 (Windows Malicious Removal)

Version 1.13 is the latest. Be sure you use that one.

> KB901190 (Windows Media Update)

KB901190 is an update for the Korean Input Method Editor, not Windows Media.
