It is not because we have a different opinion about the way your "war of terror" should be conducted that we are the bad guys and you are the great guys ready to save the world. I think we have the right to exist and to express our own opinions. You helped us free our country twice, and we helped us become independent. So no need for useless bitching.I respect USA and its citizens but I will not tolerate offenses about my country or its politics. Terrorism exists everywhere on plusminus hidden or visible forms, and it's not a new phenomenon. It's just that because on relying too much on sophisticated technologies some governments have neglected the old reliable methods.

So no need for useless bitchingVery true. and because you helped the USA become independant, us Brits hate you even more!(im joking btw )i think France is good at being a "voice of reason" but they do sometimes have blinkers on, and dont seem to see what is staring them in the face.its good they can object and do so, having the conviction and courage to do that in the face of such opposition is admirable. just sometimes they seem to do it for the wrong reasons, eg: to annoy the USA or UK, because they didnt get their way in something. OR just because they have got into the habit of objecting, if NKorea nuked Sydney harbour tommorrow i can just see France saying "now now, lets talk about this.." -- who knows.the USA and UK are waaay too willing to get the bombs out though as France lets us all know. pity we dont listen to them more often.
