maximumg Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 (edited) hi guys i'm trying to integrate some hotfixes to my Win XP SP2 cd.i am using a batch file to do it...nothing complicated just this as an example:WindowsXP-KB887742-x86-ENU.exe /integrate:D:\unattend\cdWindowsXP-KB888113-x86-ENU.exe /integrate:D:\unattend\cdbut when i finish, i end up with 100mb more and thus no space for my applications....every other method i used (ryans nlite etc) gives me missing files during the text setuphopefully manually integrating the hotfixes will no give me that problemis there a way to decrease the size of the integrated hotfixes? a switch perhaps? jbm Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I just tried Ryans post SP2 update pack and also had missing filesduring text mode. But it was because I had allready integrated someof the post SP2 hotfixes. When I made a new source (as per the instructionswhich I didn't read the first time) with only XP integrated with SP2the problem went away. Not sure if the same principle applies to Nlite.
RyanVM Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 (edited) I personally don't see how HFSLIP would work any differently if the source is missing files from the start...(since I can guarantee you that neither my pack or HFSLIP integrated properly would leave missing files behind)But I guess we're all prone to shameless pimping of our hard work from time to time Edited February 25, 2006 by RyanVM
