elduderino Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 HiWhen trying to send an email, I get a Microsoft Office Word error Message which states Unspecified error! As part of my efforts to find a solution I tried the following:All emails have an html signature, if I remove the signature I get a Microsoft Office Word error message which states Interface not registered.I have tried doing a repair of Office, and also have uninstalled and reinstalled Office.I have tried 4 System restores. And in desperation even reverted back to an Acronis Backup image stored on a separate Hard drive.I can send and receive using the same account in Outlook Express, so I no there is nothing wrong with the mail account settings. Can anybody help with this please. Thanks

philwalker2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 It seems to be a problem with office word editing then forwarding the email, I managed to get past the error message. In Outlook, goto tools, options, mail format, make sure the two boxes are unticked "use microsoft word to edit" & rich text. This will now let you forward email without the unexpected error - however is not a proper fix. It seems to be the Microsoft Word that's causing a intergration problem with Outlook. Had the same problem myself recently, I have tried the below with no joy: I tried the below which didn't fix the problem. RegSvr32 OLE32.DLL RegSvr32 MSRDO20.DLL
