installing new memory

Sorry about your bad luck. I cant even begin to help you. I am sure some on here will be able to though.

I am using 1024 mb of pc 133 ram with no problems doing the things I need to do.

I was thinking of upgrading to ddr. I changed my mind.

The added cost

Maybe a little added performance

But after reading the perils, this made me not want to do it.

I think that after more than 4 years I'm simply dued for a new pc, without a cheap mobo this time
