Liteon cdrw not copying anymore

Hi all hope someone can help been having trouble lately with comp keep crashing have to keep rebooting it back to start install every thing back on but cdrw will not burn anymore it goes through as if it gonna copy a disc and starts to burn but wont get past 3% burning and cant even abort it sometimes have to turn whole comp off to unfreeze it. it makes sounds like it doing it but not going past 3% its about 3 years old and not used on a regular basis comes with nero thanks paul

or u cud try re-installing nero, an dupdate it?

the simplist way is to ask ur fd to lend u their burner to try it on ur computer.

if their burner works, then it means ur burner have problem, and vis versa.

I have reinstalled nero and the same happens dont no what that dupdate is !!!!!

How do i do that ?

Theres lots of downloads on there which 1 do i need, sorry im a novice

other than that, u may need a new drive, and with it being 3 years old, a new one will b a lot faster as well! and they dotn cost much either now!

If your machine has been crashing a lot lately then it could very well be just a software problem instead of a hardware problem. I'd take the suggestion of trying it in another machine, if one is available.
