lynchknot Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 I'm having a frustrating problem with my website - perhaps someone here can help. I deleted all images and saw this problem - anyone reading this, know how to solve this? ThanksProblem:http://miscminutiae.com/sig/prob.pngWebsite:http://home.attbi.com/~lynchknot/phoenix.html
vcant Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 sorry, i dont understand what is the actual problem.....
lynchknot Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 Do you see what is circled in red? If you visit my website the border on the right side wil be off - then snap back into alignment when you scroll down - now when you scroll down, notice the bottom right does not match up either.
vcant Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 oh, ok i see, give me 2 mins, ill try to check it out
vcant Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 ok, try this:inside the main table (where all the text goes), place a 656 width spacer, i think it will helpi can send you the changed file if you want
lynchknot Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 You are viewing my page with IE - it will have other problems (won't have the top alignment issue but with have the content and buttons shifted to the left - it will have the bottom border problem though) Not concerned about IE though, it's for users of Mozilla Firebird.
vcant Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 well, actually i have the problem you described in IE, and i belive the spacer will solve it,cant check in mozilla thoughsorry
lynchknot Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 See this. It will snap back if I refresh or scroll. Can you show me how and where to place the spacer?
vcant Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 o, maaan, thats bad. you know, im so lucki we dont support Mozilla... ok here is the question:what id you delete everithing except this table, do you still have the problem?
lynchknot Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 I added this (first page) but probably wrong - seems to work only for the top issue though:<TD><TR> <IMG SRC="images/spacer.gif" WIDTH=3 HEIGHT=1 ALT="" /></TD> </TR>***edit - actually it's not working -
vcant Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 well, if it works, keep it and i believe that if you add another spacer in the main table, it will solve the other issue
lynchknot Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 I edited my post - it's not working all the time.
vcant Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 ok, so did you try what i told you, leaving just this table on the page?
