cluberti Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Bug Check 0x7A: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERRORFrequently, the cause of this error can be determined from the error status (parameter 2). C000000E literally means "a device which does not exist was specified". This could be a driver issue, a filesystem issue, or even failing disk hardware.I would suggest running chkdsk /f /r on all disks on the system, as well as making sure that you are using the latest WHQL drivers for your disk controller at the very least.I would also suggest, after doing chkdsk on all disks and updating drivers as necessary, running "sfc /scannow" to make sure that you don't have any corrupt system files on the system. Good luck.

jaclaz Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Well, it's a problem related to disk(s) or memory:http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=130801The problem happens in file WIN32K.SYS, there is no WIN2K.SYS file. What I would try:1) CHANGE cables to harddrive(s)2) REMOVE ALL MEMORY but ONE stick3) TEST the PC4) ADD another stick of memory5) LOOP to 3) until all memory is back in and no errors6) IF errors, the last stick of memory put in is BAD, change it7) IF NOT RESOLVED run Hard Disk Manufacturer tests8) IF errors try with another Hard Disk9) IF NOT RESOLVED you will need help from a technician, probably it's the motherboard, either the memory connectors or the Hard Disk controllerjaclaz
