[Question] Run any app as a windows service?

Does anyone have any apps that let me run anything as a windows service? for free? I found 3 that all cost $$$

You _could_ use the group policy editor to define a startup script. No login, SYSTEM rights. You don't NEED a service to do it.

Start>run>type gpedit.msc>ok

Startup script wont do it. It will wait until the script finishes to allow logon. It needs to be a service.

Try this link srvinstw.exe it was from this thread The Thread it can install and uninstall a service. This is a Microsoft app.

There is also a switch to run the script async. Tried that yet?
