I just upgraded mobos, both nf4 chipset. I uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers. But I get this when I boot up and go through the New Hardware Wizard. And it is finding the right drivers. In the Device manager Any ideas how I can stop this?

I'm trying to get my Apple Newton 120 (hey this is MS board, STHU ) but anyways, whenever I try to install Newton connection kit I get this error What can I do about this? I need to correct something in the system.ini file? and I also remembered I need to "unlock" the ports somehow on XP, how do I do that? Thanks

Recently I have been playing games and my keys will just stick and keep on pressing. So if I am pressing W for long enough it will keep on going for like 15 seconds after I finish pressing it. Same will happen with my mouse. My keyboard is a usb microsoft ergonomic 4000 and my mouse is a usb logitech mx518. I do not have drivers for the keyboard installed but I do for the mouse because I need them for the dpi changing. Are there any programs that are known to cause this or any way to check which program might be causing it? Attached is a list of programs I have installed programs.txt

Hi! I need to reinstall windows XP. I know my keycode and everything but I cant find my XPpro CD. I can find a XPhome CD I used to install on my other system. Is there any way I can use my current keycode with a home CD? Or can I make a new disc using my current installation and just get the pro parts off it, or something like that?

I DO have the password for the original files

every time I try to open it I get the attached message. If I make a new account with the same name will it work?

Well I just upgraded someones computer into a brand new system. I kept the old HDD's because they said they had pictures and no passwords. Then they realized that their daughter had password on and now she can't get her files. I have access to the hard drive and the old password. Problem is it will only boot the old version of XP in safe mode, and my mouse doesn't work in safe mode Any ideas on how I can get the files?

Well recently i bought the Microsoft natural 4000 keyboard and im loving it except every time I restart windows forgets the drivers for it. It appears as "human interface device(?)" in device manager. I am forced to restart and then it works automatically. I have tried re-installing the drivers that came with the disk to no luck. Any ideas? I'm trying the"new" drivers from MS site now. hope that works

Can anyone figure out what happened here and what I can do to fix it?

Well recently something has happened and my fonts seem to be corrupted. what i mean is on my firewall and such the warnings that coem up have no text. any way to do a "resotre all fonts" or something? i was thinking getting them off another machine might help EDIT: tried to grab fonts off another computer, but it was either "dont install font" or remove the existing font, which i cant do because its in use. Any help here?

I just went thorugh all of those wiht the control command in dos and all i found is that this is corrupted C:\WINDOWS\system32\nusrmgr.cpl according to here http://www.wilsonmar.com/1wincpl.htm the folder options is called SHELL32.dll
