Is there a way to remove All User and Default User from C:\Documents and Settings in an unattended installation?

If so is there a way to prevent them from being created?

This is how I want it to be.

C:\Documents and Settings\Ancaria

C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService

C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService

If I were you I wouldn't think about doing it. "Default User" is needed for new user creation and "All Users" is where most programs installer put shortcuts.

If you do so, you will messing up you system and even if I never tried that, I'm sure many tasks won't work anymore.

If you don't want to see them, put hidden and system attributes on these folders.

I know that alot of program puts files in All user and that is the problem.

I don't want any files in other Folders then the three mentioned in the post above.

If default user only exist so you can create new users then I don't need it and don't want it since I'm the only user on my computer.

Hide them is not an option since they still exists.

There should be a way to point All user and Default user to another directory just as you can do with eg. Temp folder. (One temp for each user or one temp that all users use).

Thanks for your reply's..

Hi, Hollenthon (if you're still around): I know it's been a while, but I've only just joined.

Looks like you need to open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\\ProfilesDirectory, then set AllUsersProfile and DefaultUserProfile to "C:\Documents and Settings\Ancaria".

Presuming that is your personal profile, I hope you enjoy the aforementioned "installer-generated spam".
