Seph Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 I got a GeForce4 MX440 SE Which does some funky stuff, quite often it'll hang during gaming and prepare and error report, stating it is a driver failure. I have downloaded and installed latest drivers also, with same result. Wierd thing.
Crispy Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 I have downloaded and installed latest drivers also, with same result. Wierd thing. You should be aware that when you install aned driver ontop of a older one it doesn't always overwrite all files. Therefore some of the bugs found in the old vesion may still exist even if you install a newer version where the bug has been fixed. You need to download "detonator destroyer" (google it), which is able to remove ALL Nvidia driver files, and then install the new driver. BTW: Seph, do you also go under the name; The onewinged angel?

nekkid Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 I think maybe you need to calm down and show a little respect for these people who are TRYING to help you. You don't need to yell and scream at them. I completely understand that it's very frustrating, but yelling is not going to get your issue resolves. When all else fails, call the manufacturer. Have you called NVidia?
