Unclassified Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 When the windows logon screen comes up, the only thing that i can see is the turn off computer option, it looks like its zoomed up or at a really low res. The only thing i know is that some buttons got pressed and it came up like that. Anyone know whats wrong? Please NOW in Microsoft Windows XP section, use [TAGS] in your topic's title.See rules.--Sonic

cluberti Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Does the issue occur if you boot up in safe mode?
N1K Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 This indicates that you weren't able to logon. In that case last known good configuration can be used..Reboot ur pc and press F8 until boot menu poops out, then choose "last known good configuration option"See what happens..
Unclassified Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 Thanks, the last known good configuration worked but do you know what would make this happen?
cluberti Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Did you make ANY changes to the system before rebooting and the problem occurring?
Unclassified Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 Im not sure whats happened because my sister was using it and she is only eight and has no idea what she is doing. She said she pressed some buttons but she doesnt know what ones.
