HELP!

Ok, I figure there's a LOT of technically inclined folks here who probably know about the Openwrt project. I, however, am a complete moron with no concept.

I've read up on the official website, but most of the information is greek to me. Thus far, I have TFTP downloaded and understand that I need a "package" to install on my router. Therein lies the problem. I have no concept. All I want to do is configure my router to act as my HOSTS file, only better; IE: Be able to add wildcard domains {*.ads.com} to be blocked from the router itself. Anything else is gravy.

I don't know a **** thing about Linux, and all of my computers are Windows XP Pro. The TFTP program runs, so I know I can flash my router, but I need to know what files to download and the correct process for getting it up and running. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
