Hi everyone,

I'm trying to burn an MPEG file to a VCD using Nero. When I play the file on the computer, it works fine. However, after it is burnt to cd there is no resulting audio on the disc.

I've tried to convert (Virtual Dub) the mpeg file to an AVI, however the audio in the resulting converted file is jumpy and skippy and unbearable. There is also no audio stream to choose from in Avi2DVD.

I've got the latest full Klite codec pack installed, so i'm not sure what the problem is. Any idea? I'm thinking i'll have to somehow strip the audio and rejoin it manually somehow.

thanks.

Since the possibilities are endless when it comes to audo/video matters, I will point you to www.videohelp.com and www.doom9.org as they are the world of knowledge with A/V. I pray.. well hope... you find your answer.

Edit - Well, since this is the first thing that popped into my head, I'll give it a shot. You're trying to watch it on your DVD Player? Make sure the audio is AC3 format.

thanks for the quick response.

My first post on here, I haven't been on forums in a while, so it's good to have a source for Windows software, and now for video.

I'm thrilled with the amount of forums and different projects everyone has :)
