how do i have my vga monitor to have fit biger windows?

hi, i think you already know what my ? is going to be.. so let's get to the point.....

i have a vga monitor that has a 640 x 480 resolution.. i can't get any hight then that resolution at all.

is there any way of fiting like say 800 x 600 resolution to that?

ok. i'll bite

start > control panel > display > settings > screen resolution

or am i missing something?

the window's are going off the screen is what i ment to say... is there any way of making every window compatibility to 640 x 480?

yes. i'd say the best way to adjust that is with the monitor controls. there should be an on-screen-display (OSD) available from one of the monitors buttons. you may find an 'auto-calibrate' function in there somewhere.

another way can be the video card drivers. some drivers allow you to adjust that stuff. i would suggest trying the first method first however.
